Happy Halloween

Hi
I couldn't resist posting a couple of simple gatefold Halloween cards. I made them with Hunkydory card and toppers hence the easy bit but I still think they are effective.

I popped the inside element on acetate to make it bounce!!

I've entered this card for the following Challenges:-

Mirabelle - Adrift

Hi
Just prepared my card to support the launch of Challenge #30 over at Scribble and Scrap. I used products available from  Scribble and Scrap  of course. Starting with one of the Santoro Mirabelle Clear Stamps - Adrift. They are large stamps with several extra elements to use as well so I had to go with a 7x7 card to achieve the layout I had in mind.

I coloured the main image and background with promarkers but couldn't resist using glitter on the moon and stars element stamp. I used the flourishes made using the Small Fancy Flourish Die and added some scrummy  Candi in marshmallow which matched the pink elements so well. The sentiment was from my stash and mounted a pink Spellbinders die cut.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:-

Mirabelle

Gosh 2 posts in a week! I just wanted to remind you about  Challenge #29 over at Scribble and Scrap, and take the opportunity to share my card.

I've made this 8x8 card using the beautiful Mirabelle Pursuit of Happiness Stamp . I've coloured her face and top but then paper pieced the design using the matching Mirabelle papers and matted and layered it onto a piece of parchment card from my stash. The flowers are another lovely item from Scribble and Scrap, this time the Hobby House Floral Boutique range and I popped a flourish in black card behind them to set them off.

I was quite pleased with the result although I'm not sure the photo does it justice...another thing I'm trying to learn!

And there is a new 5 Day Deal over at Scribble and Scrap Crafts which has just started and from now until 9am Friday (or while stock lasts) all the Hobby House range in the shop is reduced by 10%.  All you need to do is select your items and add the code HobbyHouse10 at checkout.  Make sure you remember to add the code as the discount cannot be applied once you have completed checkout.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:-

Here I go......

My very first blog post!!!
I've been dragged into the world of blogging by a very good friend, Lexie, who feels I should showcase some of my cards, but my real incentive is to support and publicise her brilliant shop, Scribble and Scrap Crafts. Hopefully in time I'll gather a few followers who may be inspired by my cards and be interested to hear how I've made them.  Lexie has some beautiful stock in the shop and some fairly unique products at fab prices. Doing this blog will also give me an excuse to buy more from her and enter a few challenges. LOL.

The clue is in the blog title that I'm a lazy blogger so I wont be appearing daily but hope to get on here weekly.

So here is the first card that I'm sharing.

This is a simple 8x8 card on which I've used a gorgeous The Hobby House Wee Stamp Topper - Hopeful mounted onto silver mirror card. The paper doily is an X cut die using a digital download paper Fabulous Florals 2 Designer Paper Set, and I made the rosette using an edge punch and my Hougi board. The trellis in the background was a cheeky find in a pound shop and is actually a silicon baking mat that cuts and also embosses beautifully.

Hope you like it.
